    Default be prepared, some damage

Here is my one boker so far.

I am considering having the blade polished to remove the scratches, but hate the idea of losing the etching.

Nice one, Hawkeye. I love how those things shave.

Now that I've shaved with her a couple of times, I agree. Great shaver!

I just picked up a Sioux Chief for 20 bucks in pretty decent shape. I'm sending it off next week to be honed. Hopefully I can rotate this thing with my Dovo Bismark.

    Default Edelweiss fortunate man.

    Hi brotherhood.
I had the good fortune to meet three Boker Edelweiss straight razors.

They are old and from what I have seen larger than the new model. 8 / 8 width. I ask Boker factory and they were manufactured from 1950 to 1969 in Germany.

To my surprise they come to me in consecutive order according to their conservation status.
The first was fairly rust and take some hard work to improve.
The second was in much better shape.
The third had been stored for more than forty years without use. She had an original protective oil layer.
    I think i’m really a lucky man.
BTW, i love how they shave!!

Going through my coffins...I found a boker bicycle race box in decent condition. Some age appropriate wearing, but still entirely intact. If you don't have the original box for your razor I will gladly trade you the coffin for any box in similar usable condition. Just PM if you are interested.
