    Default My first Boker

Received my first Boker today. Just a brief touchup on a coticule and I had a truly magnificant shave. These razors might be just a bit addicting.

Default Please let me in. It's cold out side.

Being new at SRP i discover this brotherhood.
I was lucky to bought as antique this old Boker Edelweiss, and after very little care it is a really good blade, and gives great shaves.
    Hope i qualified.
    Greetings.

100fuegos, welcome to SRP! That is a beautiful Boker. Congrats on a great find. That is the first I've seen of that size.

I'd like to join, and here's my entry application:

It's one of the new Boker Edelweisses, and it's my first straight razor. I'm enjoying it so much, and I can see the need to have a second razor around, that I'm thinking of getting a King Cutter as well--especially if I plan to start honing sometime next year (just don't tell my wife).

Do we have t-shirts? A logo? A secret handshake?

Eh guys im new to the straight Razor world. So new i havent even attempted that first shave. But since i got interested in the idea if a straight razor shave and not buying anymore of those mach whatevers i have collected 4 H.Boker razors. Just waiting for the razors to come back from getting pro honed. Also for my Strop.

    Default über new...

So...quite unexpectedly, my father passed this Boker Kink Cutter on to me this past weekend. I've always thought about using a straight razor, so this might be the time.

He received this from a good friend decades ago, and has carted it around from home to home. It's never been used. I have no clue what i have here, but I do intend to use it....at least once.

While you can't see in the photo...teh case has 0246 SP at one end. Is this a serial number?

    Blade

    Thoughts & advice welcome.

That looks amazing. I am also surprised how close that looks to the current model.
