Today is a happy day! Got my first Boker! Check out my 'new' Boker King Cutter. Blade is excellent; a little murky, but a dremel should clear it all up nicely. I really like the jimps on her as well.

Shaved with it yesterday and was almost scared of how sharp it is. Sharpened it myself as soon as it arrived, and I have never seen a blade take an edge that fast or that well (not that I have all that much experience or anything mind you) and I was very impressed. The shave was scary though, since I am used to a slightly shorter blade and shorter scales. It is also very unforgiving. I heard that hollows were supposed to be MORE forgiving than wedges, since they flex, but this one is just going to take some getting used to.

Am I worthy of being in the brotherhood?

    Default Thanks, Sham!

I just got my first Boker from Sham, it's a No.386. I have never seen this razor before and I usually look at Boker razors a lot. It has a cool notch at the toe, is a wedge, and has a weird cushion thing inside the scales for the blade.

    Default Hey Doc!!

The link to the Boker trademarks is no longer working. I did a quick look in the Wiki and didn't find them there. I have what I think is a 1932 and on trademark, but I can't be sure. Is there a link (I've tried Google) somewhere?
