That's a sweet looking razor for sure!
Michael70, that's a lovely razor. Congrats. I hope to have an Elite myself in the not too distant future, but with horn scales. The carbon fibre don't really do it for me.
I've picked up several more bokers, and finally got some scales for those cracked yellow ones I posted earlier. I had originally made some red oak scales and had put the blade on those, but I ended up getting a king cutter with some amazing scales on them that didn't fit it at all (the blade was too long and had made a mess of the end divider on them), so I took the oak scales off and put the new scales from the Bigger King Kutter on the 4/8 blade as they fit. So now I have a larger King Kutter that I need to make scales for! <laughs>
I've included pics of the new scales on the 4/8 blade, as well as the bigger King Kutter blade that came with those scales, a MOP finest grade that has a slightly bent tip that I didn't notice when I bought them online (I'm hoping that some honing might bring them back into alignment), a Cracker Jack blade that I've just about finished some Flame Maple scales for, and my newest is a Boker Arbolito that is just amazing!
Maybe I won't be posting picks just yet. Forgot to change from Raw format to jpeg, and I don't have photoshop on my laptop since I had to reset it. sigh... will try and post those picks soon.

Can't remember if I've posted this one all ready, I don't think I have though.
Here are those pics I promised. lol
So the yellow scales came with the King Cutter blade with no scales, but as I said previously the blade was too big for the scales, so I reattached them to the 4/8 King Cutter blade I had that had cracked yellow scales.

This is my Cracker Jack blade that I've been trying to make some fire maple scales for. The scales are attached temporarily for the pics as they aren't quite finished yet.

My new Boker Arbolito. Boy is she lovely, and sharp! Gotta make sure I've had a cuppa coffee before I use her! ;-) lol

My MoP Finest Grade Blade. I was so happy when I purchased it on ebay, but I didn't notice the wear on the MoP at the end of the tang (it's not that bad, but it's noticeable enough), nor the fact that the point of the blade also seems bent or warped (right where the light flare up is in the pic). Live and learn, hey guys?

I could post pics of the other two, but I've already done so earlier in the post, and they're just a little shinier (and sharper) now than before.
Here's an old Boker King Cutter I've had which I polished & honed last night. I listed it in Show N Tell also.It was made for Herold Bros, In Cleveland, Ohio originally but it is a beautiful piece. When I found it, the listing showed a razor by Herold Bros, but when I saw the pic with the tree on it, I knew what it was. It had previously been on a hone but when I hone, I use electrical tape. I'll find out how she shaves in just a short while.
I want to join!
Please recommend my first straight razor and Boker.
Rob
Maybe a King Kutter or a Edelweiss.
