Rockabillyhelge, your razor is very similar to an Elite. The blade shape and spine appear to be the same, but without the 'Elite' engraving on the blade. Interesting!

Its nearly the same like the classic Elite, only without etching and with more traditional scales, thats right.

I dont know if they were quit usual or part of the regular program as i didnt saw such a Boker before.
It shaves perfect and is a razor of that kind, when you have it, you dont need another razor, i love it and i guess, the days of my Bismarck are counted.

That there is one big hunk of steel. Very nice.

I have been wet shaving for many years, but I have only recently tried straights (14 shaves in). Yesterday, an old friend gave me a Boker razor. I am going to have it cleaned and honed. It appears to be from 24-35. It is my first and only straight. I look forward to using it.

Jayaruh, you have a very generous friend. That's a beauty. With a little TLC, it'll clean and polish up really well. Make sure you get it properly honed to do it justice.

Plenty of members on here that will take care of the clean and honing for you. Once its done and received back, put up some more photos of the razor in all its glory. Good luck.
