Thanked: 0Jos Rogers 7 day set
Walked into an antique mall today and tripped over a 7 day set of Jos Rogers & Sons Seven-Day shaving set. I nearly passed out with a price of $190 PLUS a ten percent off sale. The set is MINT... never used!~ Box is purple velvet, red leather covering, snap closure button. I'm still having dizzy spells. They are beautiful and I'll take some pics and post them. Not bragging, just citing my good luck today. O'Connell

I like that saying "sharper than a serpent's tooth" but I think I may have to have one put on one of my blades "sharper than a woman's tongue!"
I need to talk to my friend about some etching/engraving work I guess.

Joseph Rodgers & Son "Matchless"
I just got this from ebay today. It was in better than expected condition. The scales were shiny, pivot pin tight and it was not too far off from being a shaver. I spent the evening polishing and hand buffing it. I honed it up and it turned out to be a real smooth shaver!

Thanked: 23Here
Here as promised, long ago is a picture of my Harrison Bros. & Howson. Sorry for the poor image quality, I only had a shabby camera at the time. I actually wound up giving this razor away after giving away a Double Arrow that got damaged in the mail. I felt so bad about the person being excited to get the razor that I sent his baby off. It made me feel good about myself at the time, but I grew to miss it. :P

Thanked: 23Here is another razor that I eventually sold to The Blacksmith. A nice old Joseph Rodgers. I'll Blacksmith him a PM and ask him if I can repost his picture of his beautiful restore on it.

Thanked: 171I won this Thomas Turner & Co "Culters to His Majesty" Sheffield razor with custom scales on ebay the other day. Pretty good price too, IMO.
Any idea how old it is? It seems the company was around 1834-1921.
