Thread: The Stub-Tailed Shavers

I've had this one for years from when I used to collect old razors but didn't shave with them. It is a Rodgers Cast Steel. I haven't honed it but I may get around to it.
This one is also from my collecting days and unfortunately has a large chip in the edge. I love the overall look of the blade and scales though.
Back then I mainly collected razors from this vintage. Wish now that I hadn't sold them.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I have a couple of newer razors that are stubbies. A Torrey Mayfield and a Bengall Wedge. No where near as old, but still stubby, does that qualify?

Saw this club but never put the stubtail in mind with my older blade
Here is my Clark N Hall, from the book I found it in it seems to hail from the late 1790's as the ones from 1800 had a more traditional slant to them.
