My clover, a 5/8 barber's notch. Great shaver! My first usable straight actually. The picture doesn't do the blade justice, it's very clean with some very minor staining at near the notch.

    Default Clover Four...

Here is a picture of my "CLOVER FOUR" I won on ebay. This thing shaves like a dream! I know it's not a W.H. Morley Clover but it is a beauty and shave's like it too! Thanks for letting me post broox! The Box in the background I got from old_blades here in the classifieds! I'm sure he would gladly make one for anyone!

    Default My First Razor

    Hi all!

I have been reading about straight razors and the art of shaving with them and been longing for one of my own for ages now.

Recently came across one at a rummage sale for under a dollar and after searching on this forum, I found there are several others who have this brand. (Clover)

Mine has the "Morley" and "Clover Brand - Germany" on one side and the word: "Conqueror" on the other. Not familiar with this and wondered if this is a certain line of razors? Did a search and came up with zip online so far.

I have some photos of it in my album and I'll try to post them in this message (If I get it right!)

I just need to hone it and get shaving! (All the soap, supplies and gear is ready to go. Can't wait!)

Such a wonderful forum and website! I never knew there were so many straight razor fans out there!

You have a nice collection of Morleys going on! (The last one sure looks great! -also, the second one has some intricate scales - very nice!)

Got a few razors from an auction pack recently, and included was a gorgeous Morley. W.H. Morley & Sons "Trade Mark." The etching says "Trade Mark" with the clover icon in the middle.

    Etching:

Needs to be honed so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Can't wait, though.
