Got this back last week, Val added a pair of green / gold scales that really pop, and cleaned it up, and put a superb edge on using his J-Nats this time.

Damn,, that's gorgeous phrank. Val did a nice job on those skins. How's the shave, dare I ask?

Beautiful full hollow ground, easy in the hand, and an effortless BBS shave, and these Japanese blades seem to love to take an edge, bevel is like looking into a mirror.

Quick phone pic of two NOS blades:

    - Hitachi Yasuki Steel (HYS) "Hard" 6/8

    - Takehana "Feon" 6/8

    Hoping they'll hone up beautifully.....

Got several NOS Japanese blades this week. The "Dream" has interesting designation on the back of the tang, not sure what it means but I have never seen one like that before.

Nice haul, Stefan. My next RAD target is most definitely a shoulderless Japanese full-hollow. Too bad you singlehandedly drove up the price point with this grab.

I think I need to start buying "several NOS Japanese blades" at a time, if I could ever find them. Beautiful blades, Stefan.

The prices have been climbing steadily over the past few years no question about it.

Stunning batch Stefan. I'm still fondly appreciative of the Pechika 55 you recommended several years ago.
