Well, since I started with a Genco, I may as well post 'em all up...

    In the first picture:
First Row from left to right we have a 6/8 Seneca Chief, a 6/8 Pyramid 7N, and a (now) 7/16 Henry's XX.

Second row from left tor right we have a 5/8 Full Hollow (just stamped Geneva Cutlery Co), a 4/8 Full Hollow (again, just stamped Geneva Cutlery Co) and a 6/8 Pyramid 7N.

Third row from left to right a (now) 4/8 Full Hollow (again, just stamped Geneva Cutlery Co), a 7/16 Pyramid 7N and a 4/8 Pyramid 7.

On the Bottom row, we have a Genco SafEdge with it's original case (though it's missing the guard), a Genco barber's hone, and then a GI issued Genco SafEdge kit, which includes a SafEdge razor, strop backed barber's hone, polished steel mirror and canvas carrying case.

The 2nd and 3rd pics show a Genco SafEdge Model B, which I guess was their attempt at a shavette? I've never seen one before. The scales are like hard rubber and have "SafEdge Educator" stamped into them.

Not pictured are two more which have unfortunately met their demise- one at the hands of my mother-in-law and one which came to me in a lot of eBay which was cracked. I'm only hanging onto these two for the scales. I figured I'd spare you all the horror of viewing them.

    Anyway, just thought I'd share.

I got one to restore from a WW2 vet. He said its exactly the way he bought it, except for the rust of course. I'll post another when she's done. Great pics everyone!Name: uploadfromtaptalk1388215854783.jpg

Hey guys! I have an old Genco Master Barber that I picked up at an antique shop. I can't find any information on this one though, especially since all the master barbers that I've found online have two lines on the trademark, where as mine has three. It also has absolutely no markings on the back side of the tang. I've seen some ads that match it, but am unsuccessful so far on determining age and value. Thanks a lot.

i have been using an old genco I bought on-line a couple of years ago. I dug out a loupe to see what the tang is staped and it reads "Army and Navy". Anyone have any info on this model?

Well, I finally retired my Great-Grandfather's straight and got an "antlers" Geneva Cutlery razor to take its place. Funny thing is the "replacement" is just as old as its predecessor.
This older Geneva is, like most, "plain", but the shave it delivers is first class. The full hollow blade was a breeze to hone, despite a slight curvature.
The scales are also in great shape and did not need much attention to shine like new.
Overall, this seems to be a great example of early 20th century craftsmanship: utilitarian, no frills, but gets the job done.

Found two Geneva Cutlery Co razors. They appear completely unused. One is a regular square point , rounded a bit on the top and square on the bottom. Never heard of a Spanish Point version though. Both razors came from the same tackle box.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1406599654280.jpg

Wonderful little razor in every respect. One of, if not my favorite razor in my small collection.
