On the left is a google earth image of the Genco factory site in its current condition in Geneva, New York. I'm pretty sure this is the correct site south of Grant Avenue, and I think that may be remnants of the actual building. On the right is the 1917 representation. Someone in the Geneva area should drive over and see if the milling equipment is still there!

Too late to edit my previous post, but I said Grant Avenue was the address of the factory in Geneva. I should have said Gates Avenue. That's what the aerial photo shows.

Here are two of my five the Head Barber

    And the Gold Seal

I almost had four more but got snipped at the last second.

So does the queen of the plain-jane, reliable, inexpensive American shavers deserve a razor club? I think so.

Here are my three excellent Genco razors. Sorry about the blurry pic.

    1. Genco Registered.
    2. Genco Master Barber.
    3. Genco Army & Navy.

I got each of them for less than $10, shipped.

I hope to one day have a complete collection, but as a bit of a cheapskate, I'm not holding my breath.
I've just noticed the Genco club .. I did think of starting this only I was gonna call it the Geneva Convention

what a fine collection you have .. I thought I was doing well with 5 or 6

Geneva Convention is a pretty clever name, I got "Genco Pura" from The Godfather. It was the name of Don Vito's olive oil company.

That's just a list of Genco models I've seen on ebay, I've only got four of them.

Ahhhh ok , a man after my own heart tho . I'm no David Bailey so I'll try and get my lovely wife to take a picture of my little Geneva Convention and I'll post them up .

Looks like I'll have competition on ebay now LOL
If I see you bidding I'll leave it be .

    Cheers Garry
