I have been writing to the seller allmost daily for 12 days to convince him to ship the set from UK to Italy.. uhfff.. a quite difficult transaction.. but after that, the set was delivered in two days, in time for my birthday

Blades need to be cleaned but they are still mirroring and all in their full size: 12/16". [No "special days", here

.. you know.. those 4/8" saturdays between 6/8" blades..]

Well this pair is a member of another club also but still I think t fits here quite nicely. Recently got this one so I am very excited about it. Ivory scales but one of the scales has a problem, pictured... will fix or replace soon.

Here's a set of Henckels 401 Platinum's that I currently have my hands on. They have minimal spine wear and seemingly no wear on the bevels, so I think there is a chance that they may be NOS. Unfortunately, one has a little stain by the toe where the blade touches the scales; other than that they are pretty much perfect.

Here is a set of Mappin's that I picked up a bit back. These are, for now, keepers. I'm keeping them because I really want Mappin's, and I really like the finger notch and double thumb notch. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are a bit smaller than I like. If I found a bigger one or bigger ones, I would trade up for sure.

That's oil on the blades, but there are some imperfections on them too.
