Here's my pair of Germer 4/8's, with ivory scales and lead wedges. A lovely looking pair of razors!

This is a great idea! I have several pairs and a few 7 day sets and will try to post them soon.
I found after searching around that a John Pletscher passed away in Baltimore in 1945. I don't know if it was him, but it sounds right. John was certainly a distinguished gentleman!Last edited by sharptonn; 02-16-2011 at 10:21 PM.

A seven day Henckels set Sunday is a bit short. I can only surmise it was dropped after a wild Saturday nite.

I just recently acquired these and I haven't touched them yet. They are a Thomas Turner Encore set with ivory scales and lead wedges. They were used but it does not look like they were abused.
This is my first 7 day set, so I am excited about them.

Wow, absolutely beautiful!!! I hope to find something like these some day. Maybe once I know what is decent and what is junk I'll have the guts to buy from ebay.

I have to punch out and go home. I need to change. I seem to have drooled all over myself. Made my day guys!
