    And so the torture continues...

A letter from DHL arrived today asking me to urgently contact them about the shipment of dietary supplements from Italy! I am stunned. 7 days ago already I sent DHL a photo of the razor to help explain to Customs the contents of the shipment.

    And the torture is over!

I was finally able to pry the razor away from Customs yesterday and had, without any doubt, the best shave of my life this morning! The smell was indeed intoxicating and the shave itself the smoothest I have had. I thought my Damasteel Livi razor was nice, but it cannot compare to this new masterpiece.

Interestingly, the certificate that came with the razor listed it as 8/8 rather than the 7/8 I thought I ordered....no matter as it is magnificent.

I will try to post a picture of both razors soon...perhaps when I am done smelling the scales....

I'm very happy for you! Don't worry for the 8/8. It's a hand made razor, it's impossible the precision of machine! Pictures!

    For the Mastro Livi fanboys:
I took the liberty of stealing a frame from razorguy's fantastic video (hope he doesn't mind!) about Mastro Livi making Damascus to make a wallpaper for my computer. If anyone is so inclined, I offer it here for your own use, it makes a lovely wallpaper for a small monitor or laptop.

No worries at all....just happiness. I haven't bothered to measure the blade and don't think I ever will.
