I would like to know what the lowest price razor brings? Thank YOU.

I looked and those razors are Ridiculously priced, I don't care how good they might be. I would never buy one no matter how much money I had.

Then why are you posting in this thread. These people obviously value the razors the Mastro makes, so just because you can't afford one you call them ridiculous? You get what you pay for. This is a master craftsman, using the best steel and scale components money can buy paired with generations of experience. Doesn't sound ridiculous to me...

Golly Gent's, didn't mean to upset your sense of value. I make knives and know what steel costs and stainless damascus is difficult to make, I guess what the prices did was shock the heck out of me, 2,500 for a Razor??? Knock yourselves out Boys.

I do not make knives or razors, but I understand an artisan made knife or razor is not just steel.
Paint and brushes are very cheap as well, cheaper than steel, however turning paint and brushes into the art of a picture or "fresco" is not just that.
    Knock yourself out, you too.

Could you please refrain from trolling and trying to antagonise people.
This forum is a lovely place to be. Very informative and a friendly community.

Now I don't go onto a Ferrari forum and moan about how expensive the car is when my Skoda/mini/insert whatever cheap car can also get me from A to B.

I could easily shave with a disposable razor but the joy and immense pride I get with using an Artisan product is priceless.

I was very lucky to go to Perugia and watched Mastro Livi make my razor from bate metal and what a wonderful experience that was for my 40th birthday. Because of this forum I got to meet a wonderful gentleman (Antonello) who spent the whole time with me at Mastro Livi's translating.
Where could someone have been able to facilitate an experience like that unless the forum we know and love was as friendly as it is.

So to reiterate please take your unwanted comments and attitude somewhere else.

I am very proud to show you the three Mastro Livi Grifetto razors I have in my collection. Excellent razors, awesome shavers! I hope to add to my collection the remaining three models with cocobolo, black African ebony and abalone scales. Amazing Grifetto!
From left to right: Mastro Livi Grifetto 60 (camel bone scales with olive wood insert and the Italian flag to celebrate Mastro Livi's 60 years of commitment in the straight razor field), Original Grifetto (with olive wood scales) and Grifetto with white mother of pearl scales.

Just got my Mastro Livi Damascus Inox razor with buffalo horn and barbers tip. It took 4 months because of a mix up on the order but I will never cease to be amazed at Mastro Livi's work. I also received my medium loom strop. All I can say, and this is an understatement:Name: IMG_0278.jpg

Congratulations on your new Mastro Livi straight razors! Simply awesome! (To tell the truth, I had the privilege of watching and holding your razor in my hands before they shipped it to you. Simply a breathtaking masterpiece!)
As for the loom strop, I know what you mean: I too have been successful in giving new life to some trouble blades and, to me, this is the very best strop I have ever used so far.
