... ... ... about that Kippax, anybody seen a stub-tail corn razor before? Is that what it is?

I think he is talking about foot's corn, and tiny razors that were used to remove it.
I honestly don't know if it is one or not. Could be, or could be a sort of travel razor..
Unusual anyway IMHO.

Thanks Thaeris, people looked, liked, and moved on.. not one person even replied. In post 138 with the pics I asked what people thought .. a stub-stall corn cutter, ever seen one? But it seems people that visit this thread must be more voyeuristic and less interactive. I was a bit disappointed. First time visiting this thread. I'll probably just post on a different one.
Definitely would be cool to think of that little razor as a little travel razor! I like that better than the more likely foot corn remover... lol
Thanks again for the reply!“You must unlearn what you have learned.”

I see it now MikeT. I never even got an email notification for when you posted that one or I would have remembered it! Then when a post was made I went back some posts but didn't see anything. Sorry. Maybe I'm better off on a different one! And no pity party here or feelin' sorry for myself. No special treatment expected. Just nothing going right it seems lately. Sorry guys, I didn't mean to disappoint anyone.

That 1700's Show
Hey guys. Here is my submission. I posted about this razor a few years back and had no success in identifying it.
I know the picture doesn't do the razor justice but the lack of the tail leads me to be believe it is indeed French. There are no maker marks or any writing at all on the razor. There is however a small crescent look mark on the shoulder. I'm not sure if the scales are original but they are made of wood.
Thanks for any help guys and happy shaving!!!!Last edited by ItalianJoe; 10-18-2015 at 01:43 PM.
