Thanked: 4826Thanks Grazor, it is my ex-razor. I sold it here in the classifieds about a year ago. It was in pretty fantastic condition but not really my preferred shave. It went to a new custodian that i hope loves it and uses it.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Interesting - I have three Palmera's, and have never been able to actually see the bellied hollow, but they are certainly a fine razor, one has the Ferdinand Herberz and Son's mark on the tang stamp. Hadn't visited this thread in awhile, now I know what razor I'm choosing for next shave.
By the way, where the heck is Pixel, haven't seen a post from him in awhile, time to PM him.....

Almost bought myself a Filly #14 last night but our exchange rate stopped me.

Dear # 14 enthousiasts,
Thanks Badgister, cau, celticcrusader, jollo74 for sharing the awesome # 14 pics!
Here some of my own: a "set of seven" Henckels Friodur 14.
These are my favourite straight razors and I'm generally on the look out for nos mint nib exemplaries to add to my collection.
Please keep sharing # 14 pictures, questions, information and theories and let's keep the atmosphere light and respectful.
Kindest regards, JazorLast edited by Jazor; 04-25-2016 at 04:17 AM.

Here are my latest 14 haul
Fist generation filarmonica (no "made in Spain" stamp), filarmonica sub cero and a very exquisite and larger than normal palmera that comes in at 26.5mm and in almost nos condition. The grind on the palmera i(light belly) I.s a thing of beauty and the pronounced point get visual points.

Beautiful - love your Palmera!
Now I know what mine used to look like before it probably made to many trips to the hones....
This is the one of three Palmera's I have, it's an odd size, think maybe around 7/8:
