    It's not only brand.
    So.
    Curt Hoppe - maker,
Carl Hoppe der Jungere - maker,
    Eugen Hoppe - maker,
    Julius Hoppe - maker,
    Samuel Hoppe - maker,
Wilhelm Hoppe - maker, stamp "Guillermo Hoppe",
(Samuel and Wilhelm are from one family).
Hoppe & Cо, the owners were Ernst и Richard Hoppe, later and Auguste Hoppe.
Well-known company Giesen&Forsthoff "Timor", has trademark "German Hoppe".
These makers, that I know only. Probably, there are some more.
As you see, not so simply with all these Hoppes.

@ zozo: thanks for your addition to the list of Hoppe # 14 names.

In an earlier posting I stated also to have a Palmera # 14.

It's a NOS and has sort of marbled green scales of which I don't know the material.

The 8/8 blade still has the factory edge and it came with the fatty paper wrapping still around it.

Here some pics to share with all of you # 14 enthusiasts:

As stated in the earlier posting, the tang stamp "Palmera 14" is not perfectly symmetrical.

Love this blade and will see if I can get myself to start using it....

    Kindest regards, Jazor.

@ pixelfixed: it seems to be the original box to me and indeed it has no markings.

Somehow the green marbled effect of the original scales my Palmera # 14 came with "match" the green marbled box which seems to be the same box as yours.

    Kindest regards, Jazor.

    @ matt789: thanks for sharing that nice # 14.

New # 14 brand to me as well.

What strikes me looking at that Emeraude is that it seems more "straight" than the usual # 14 typical "double swipe" profile.

Does it come with crerrations on top and bottom part of the shank as all # 14's I know do?

    Very interesting razor indeed.

    Kindest regards, Jazor.
