Hi all!
I purchased a Ralf Aust from a friend. It's a 7/8" in palisander with an american point. I love this design!!
I bought it from a friend who can't shave anymore because of combustion in his face.. Sadly.
He shaved with it once and he also sold me his Aust strop. It is quiet a coincindence that I can take-over this SR, because on advice of him earlier this year, I was looking for an Aust directly from Germany. Pic's will follow as soon as I got it!
Regards,
T

Ralf Aust
Just arrived,
7/8 Spanish Point.
I haven't bought any razors for some time. mainly because I found myself shaving with the same one most of the time.
However, when I saw these at SRD, I couldn't resist. It came honed and nicely packaged. My poor photographic skills really do not do it justice.

Congrats Easyace!
I'm more excited than ever about mine showing up in the mail.
I expected it yesterday (Saturday) but it didn't come....in fact my neighborhood didn't get ANY mail yesterday.
Unbelievable!
Congrats again, and enjoy.

Got a feeling that one of those 7/8 is going to be joining my collection by the end of the year. Not sure which point to go for but that Spanish looks great. Can't wait to hear how it shaves.
ps more photos please!

The shave with the Ralf Aust was excellent, heavier in the hand than I'm used to, but not to any detriment.
