Hi all,

considering a new SR, I've looked on the website of herr Aust and I have a couple of questions. I hope anyone of you can answer them.

Herr Aust sells a 7/8" in 'normalstahl': in Pallisanderwood (+-270,- dollar). I assume this is normal steel. He can also deliver other SR's 5/8" and 6/8" in both 'edelstahl' or 'normalstahl'. I assume 'edelstahl' is stainless steel. Does anyone know if steel ('normalstahl') in this formulation is, carbonsteel? Or is that someting I'll have to ask herr Aust? Why would he not sell an in the basis more expensive SR, in stainless steel. It seems to me that stainless steel is more durable.

Does anyone of you know what an 'Amerikanischer kopf' is? In English it will be an American Point. What does it look like?

Thanks.
T
