First pic is before the restore (only one I had showing that side). Second is after restore, the origonal scales said Military Razor, the tang has our Eagle holding shield and arrows. Makes me wonder is a soldier used it. Great razor, very thin grind.

Thanked: 4in my opinion they are all rare these are the only two i have seen so far and ive been into this for a long time.
ive been looking for the solingen maker ,and i havent had much luck.my guess is yours was issued to or sold in the military.that would probably make it even more hrd to find.just a guess.mine is also a very thin grind.pics of it in this link;hercules, witch is the same name as his barbers chair. No matter were u go there u R!

Thanked: 4im not positive they were sold to only military ,just going by what you stated in your previous post.as far as its monitary value i have no idea, like i said they are soligen made blades and you can find most of the info on the maker that i have on this thread.id like to see after you clean it up.it looks like it will serve you well.i dig mine.from what i gather the double ducks price is high because of supply and demand.they are very popular razors, but not nessasarily any worse or better than yours, only more demanded.it is all a matter of opinion my boy,i have an union cutlery extra hollow that is new old stock and it shaves better than my 200 dollar whostys.i only paid 20 bux for it .so u see its all in whats most comfortable to you.have a good day.
