Please recommend your favorite vintage J.A. Henckels shaver
I collect and use all American made razors with the
exception of vintage J.A. Henckels blades. To tell the truth I only have one and it's so pretty that I'd rather not use it. Now I'm looking for a Henckels shaver and need some guidance from the experts. I'm leaning towards a heavy blade like the #14.

I had a real nice 7/8 Friodur a few years back but sold it. Here is my one and only remaining Henckles, a high carbon # 14 from 'back in the day.' It is an 8/8 and a full hollow. A real beauty and definitely a 'singing' blade. How about them Twins !
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I've got a couple 401's in different widths, one of the most "singingest" blades I own.

Rez, I had to search tough for a year to find my Henck 14. It was listed on the bay by one of our forum members. Within minutes I sent him a message and he sold it to me with a generous discount. Just one more example of the comradery displayed here at SRP.
