Since this thread is here to allow one to fantasize completely as to their NOS Unicorn razor then I must put forth the desire for a fully motorized, self sharpening, remote controlle......oh, sorry I thought I was on the Forum of Electric Machines for the Purpose of Beard Reduction.
My NOS Unicorn razor would be any decent brand 9/8 round nose razor that somehow got past Phranks constant acquisition of such beauties. (Ideally the maker would be someone with my last name so it could be matched up to the strop I have that bears my last name.)"The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

Thanked: 3I've seen a lot of people here say their unicorn razor is a Wade and Butcher. Are they really that sweet of shavers? I've never been lucky enough to use one, so I'm a little curious.

Methinks the big smiling John Elliot 7/8 will be my ATF, but it's not here yet. (candidate #1 for unicorn NIB)
I'm bidding on the BOX for a M&G $1 razor now (it comes with pitted razor) as I have a clean and great shaving M&G Sheffield Diamond Edge $1 Toledo Ohio. It has given me the most butteriest shaves. (candidate #2)
BUT i love the big smile of my MSHG W/B. Just not enough blade there-need a 7 or 8/8 version. Hoping John Elliot brings it all together.
Haven't even shaved with my W/B American Razor yet, ergonomically a twin to the M/G, the only difference can be the edge i'm able to put on it. (the most likely candidate as you can't turn over three rocks (where the rocks are antique malls) without finding some variation of W/B razor)
SO many razors and what me with slow whiskers! Ask me again in 10 years.
(I also have a Morley in the mail...)Last edited by WadePatton; 01-19-2014 at 06:02 PM.
