that is what i was starting to think. had just been hoping to be wrong. I have put another 45 min into it on the same stone and the bevel looks the same as it did at my last post. My guess is that it has work hardened to the point that not even the 220 can do much to it anymore.

That being said it is still super sharp knife wise and so i guess this is destined to be a multi-purpose paperweight for my desk.


Edit: PS I think Grindworx has earned its place on the Stay away from list of razors.
