I took some pictures of the Elite and thought folks here might enjoy a closer look. The blade is impressive in terms of workmanship, imo, when compared to a lot of what we see the last few years with Dovo and Boker. I think that speaks well of Boker with this release. I tried to get a picture of the spine work which I found interesting.

I agree with you about the "fit and finish", it's first rate. Also the nickel silver liners give it that nice metal on metal silky smooth feel on opening & closing. Can't wait to shave with it but mine's in the hospital getting a nose job now.

Mine came from a knife retailer online. It seems the knife retailers are getting stock before straight razor sellers. I forgot to add that I am looking forward to seeing the results of the surgery on your Elite.
