Thanked: 2I returned two new Bokers under warranty and they sent me two absolutly flawless razors. Warranty return is always an option. The quality control in the warranty dept seems to be operating at a different level.

I have to agree with gadivier's implication: return it. Since I was modifying the point on mine which would void the warranty, I inspected it very, very carefully. The only fault I could find with it was a very slightly uneven bevel and, to be fair, had I not been giving it a hypercritical exam I probably would not have noticed it. I know that anyone can make a mistake and that Boker's warranty service is very good but it is disappointing to hear that their QC is that spotty.
