Thanked: 884DAYUMM,
You've had some rough luck with razors this week.
Hope it's all behind you now. Guitstick will fix that Aust into a sweet shorty for you. Who knows, you might even like it more than before.

What a complete Bastard of a thing to happen, I received an e-mail earlier on today from a member whom I sold a lovely mint Filarmonica JMP 13 he had been raving about the razor for months today he knocked the razor on to the bathroom floor he sent me a photo all I can say is what a sad sight throw it in the bin.

Wullie... not expecting it back from Guitstik - it's a gift from me at this point if he can use it. And Guitstik, if you're reading, just keep it and do whatever you'd like with it.

Thanked: 3225That pretty well sums it up very succinctly. Hate when that happens and yea I have dropped a blade and chipped it at the very beginning too. Been having your troubles with straights lately and now might be a good time to take a pause and a few deep breathes before proceeding along the way. It will all eventually come together.

BobH... Yea, the problems seem to be coming from me getting "better" at using straights. Because it's a daily thing, I start moving quicker vs taking my time. This one here really was just a freak accident (vs the other I bumped into the faucet). Just set it in the wrong spot while cleaning my soap bowl and happened to bump the towel it was on.

Thanked: 884I've yet to mess one up at the sink.
Screwed up a few out in the shop. Stuff happens. You cuss and go on, hopefully learning something in the process. The ones I wrecked weren't even good for wind chime blades when I got done with 'em.
If that was me making it a shorty, I'd send it back to you anyway. It'd be a delightfully usable reminder to take care of bid'ness.Member Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club, participant SE Asia War Games 1972-1973. The oath I swore has no statute of limitation.
