Shooter... yea, I don't feel as bad about this as when I brought the blade up into the faucet. At least this was a legitimate "accident" vs my dumb ass doing something stupid. But, like you said, SLOOOOW down. On the upside, while my 5/8 is at Lynn's getting honed, I'm back to playing with the shavette so I'm still learning the process.

I also used this as a reason to buy another... just got this from SRD:

You can't say SON OF A %#$%@ on the forum. We would prefer that you be more definitive and
say something like SON OF A %@#!$!%&$%@#&%!!!*#$%.

Now that's a phrase you can sink your teeth into. Next time consider making
a shorty out of any broken blade. I've made three so far
and they work fine, especially in the goatee area..................

guitstik - if you happen back across this thread (and I also sent you a PM), I mailed you the wrong razor. Had the broken one going to you and a 5/8 going to Lynn for honing. Boxes got mixed up so I need to get the 5/8 back from you and I'll send you over this broken 6/8.
