my SWMBO finally said this weekend(i've been waiting for this for quite awhile), What do you need another one for? don't you have enough? the conversation ended with," i guess it's your money". sometimes i'm bursting with such excitement about the subject that i have to start a conversation (even if it's a short one) with " i know you aren't really going to care, but.....

I tell you, women are controlled by a single being probably on a "Mother" ship on the dark side of the moon. That sounds like all the conversations that my wife and I have on these subjects.

My wife zones me out too.. I start feeling hurt, but then I ask myself why would any woman enjoy hearing about razors, fountain pens, guns etc. and so I shut up.
Thing is with me though.. I would enjoy hearing about makeup or cute puppies or whatever the hell women think about. I like new information regardless of nature.

Makes perfect sense you are doing research for yourself and the community at large. The larger the amount of razors sampled this will make your findings more definitive. You could propose documenting your findings and writing a paper or thesis. End result is a Doctorate in straight razorology. Then she could tell the family and friends you are a Doctor. She is married to a Dr.

Siguy she is about as serious as I am with her quitting smoking, I don't encourage it but it is a wasted conversation if I bring it up.
anyway there is not point pushing selling blades as there is no benefit to her as this is a self-perpetuating hobby,
if I sell anything it will just buy more refurb jobs to keep me busy or some more expensive items
as I still have a few things on the list I would like, like a very nice Miller or Hide to Art Strop, one of Pixelfix’s horn & ivory brushes (if I can smuggle it in to Aus), some more custom str8s, some more large str8s, some more creams, soaps, aftershaves
or a buff, belt sander, a forge, steel, resto materials.
damn it I’m screwed she may be right as much as I will never admit it to her
LOLSaved,
to shave another day.
