Yeah but they were looking at it as a self contained unit that had everything needed to keep a razor sharp. I'm sure they were trying to keep them from carrying no more than & only what they needed. JMO
That's a nice razor Bob!!! I like that a lot. I'll have to keep my eyes open for that one!Last edited by engine46; 10-17-2015 at 06:31 PM.

Wow. There is some really messed up things being written in this thread. Im surprised that some of the inflammatory language that some consider humorous has managed to go one step further.

No, I don't care to elaborate. I will just take any further issues I have with posts like the one I referred to earlier to the forum moderators.

that reminds me
Hitler had only one brass ball
Goering had 2 but very small
Himmler had something similar
But Goebbels had no balls at all

Sorry, but this is quite an ancient Thread.
This is a Thread that's been dead for about 60 Months--that's FIVE Years. The majority of those involved in the conversation are no longer active.
The same is true to your only other post since you joined.
Here:
https://sharprazorpalace.com/razors/...ml#post1901074
The basic difference between the two is that the latter one was sold.
IF you would have taken the time to look back through both threads you would have been able to answer both of your questions.
Don't get me wrong, the old threads are there for being able to look back upon and retrieve knowledge. However some are just 'Dead' as these two are.
Be sure to check out the library for any basic information about learning, using, maintaining and even restoring straight razors.
Using a straight razor is an older but better way of shaving. It has a huge learning curve but once semi mastered is very rewarding.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
