Glad you didn't strop the Friodur before shaving with it or you would never know how good an edge you have.

2 razors is an interesting idea... never thought of that. I do like the thinner blade for around the mouth/nose, but like the large blade for cheeks/neck. This might be a new routine!

Cudarunner is a great guy for honing. I'm in DC and he's across the country in Washington state, but I can still send him my razors and get them back working awesome within a very short period of time. If you need honing done, I would encourage you to check with him. He's also great for helping to locate razors if there's something in particular you're looking for.

Major I'm really glad you like it! I just happen to stumble upon it at the Classifieds here at SRP. It is a really nice shaver, however while he has tasted my edges including the one on my 11/16 Friodur and my son's 8/8 Friodur I can't take credit for this one. The seller sent it to me with a fresh hone and said it just needed stropping. He said that if I felt that the edge was lacking to feel free to rehone it.

After a small test shave I found it had a very nice edge, so I just restropped it, sanitized it then dried it well and oiled the blade and sent it to Major.

This way when the time comes and i am honored to hone it the Major will be able to have a comparison.

As far as the card goes, yes I financed it after checking with Lynn, who contacted All involved and then he gave me the approval to have them made and use them. I'd sent him an electronic pic of the basic layout and then the final product after the OK had been given.

It was designed by a member who has a graphics business, he also turned me onto where to have Quality Cards made at a reasonable cost and I thank him.

I hate to Hijack the tread but the member also made this magnetic sign for the metal front door of my humble apartment hehehe
