I agree - as far as I'm concerned, I don't really consider the #13 Cello Oro I have a Filarmonica - they don't look the same or shave the same, aside from also being physically a much smaller blade, which sounds to me like another easy cost saving measure.

Well, they always did make 13's and 12's as well. I have a 13 Cello Oro and it shaves super. Fun to discuss, anyway!

Tom, they don't have to be the widest blade. It depends what works best on your face..........

Oh...I agree, is definitely a nice blade. I would compare it more to one of my new production TI's than an old Filarmonica in my opinion. The two are night and day difference in terms of weight, grind and the metal seems much softer and smoother, the blade sticks to my face with the older JMP blades then with the new one's which, as I mentioned, seem a much harder steel, more rigid, again, much like the new TI's, which certainly isn't a bad thing....

Matter of preference, I suppose. I dig the big ones, but seem to be gravitating towards 6/8 to 7/8 these days. Easier to use, IMO.
This Sello Oro is right between 13/16 and 7/8. Right in my sweet spot. With the cheesy pins, it really reminds of Solingens.
Either way, it shaves great. I need to repin it someday!

Birnando - I happened to be just looking in the Dictionary, and knew it was your picture beside the word: "Awesome".

Very nice of you and Merry Christmas to you and yours as well....
