New Razor Designs
Is anyone making razors with more of an "industrial" look or with a more modern touch --- something a little less traditional ?

I've seen a couple guys doing industrial looking razors but the prices are prohibitive, but if your interested in spending 500 or more let me know and I'll find the names for you.
How's life treating you Justin?

Everything's good Mark ---- $500 bucks is a little expensive (for most) ---- I was just thinking about how it might be interesting to carry the straight razor system into more of a modern -- more cutting edge --- arena. Everything from the the strops to the razors --might get even more people interested --- kind of a merging of the old and new. I just happen to like that certain look (hard for me to define) that one might call industrial --- kind of a mean, unrefined, metallic look.
How you doing Mark (and the family)? ---- keeping it real in California?

Thanked: 9Darrell has posted here and has some interesting designs. Beautiful but I prefer a different look (e.g. Robert W, Maestro).
Cheers

yeah --- I don't know if "modern" is the right word for what I like --- some modern looks are too streamlined, minimalistic and "effeminate" --- what I'm talking about is kind of a bare bones , utilitarian look as well ---- I don't know enough to define what I like --- I just know it when I see it .

I kind of like the modern look, but if you got too into it, then you'll just have a razor that looks similar in style to the fusions, which would be a little sacrilegious in my opinion. Still, those Darrel Ralph razors are might impressive, as well as the knives and daggers and swords, oh my!
