Carl, from your first post I'm assuming you're in the UK ? If that is correct SRP member Neil Miller is expert at restoring, honing and also makes some of the best strops in the world. He is in the UK. He has been having some health issues and I'm not sure what his workload is now, but you could shoot him a PM and find out if he would take them on.
Steve Dempster of 'The Perfect Edge' is a very good honer in the UK. Not sure about restoration, but google that web page if you want to get in touch with him. There may be other alternatives in the UK, but I am not aware of them.
There is also 'member services' in the SRP classifieds.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 4828That is a very nice set. I think you have done well. They don't appear to need much in terms of restoration. Complete with the original box and ivory scales I have to say I'm a little envious.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

In addition to jimmys suggestions Celticcrusader (jamie) is in Wales and does work on razors, can't speak for his work firsthand but it looks fine. My first thought was neil as well, though as Jimmy says he has been unwell of late.
They are a nice set, i wouldn't attack them yourself as it would be a shame to spoil something like that.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Hello to All,
From Mr. Miller's website, dated February 2015 :
I have stopped taking honing and restoration orders for a while, mainly because I never know when illness will drag me down again and make me lose deadlines, like it has before and after the xmas period. I really hate letting people down, so once I catch up I will start taking orders for honing and restoration again.
Best regards
Russ
