I found this vintage Wakizashi at my Brother-in-law’s house on Thanksgiving. I removed the handle and found this Kanji. It’s not a razor, but I’m hoping someone can help.
The Tsuba has markings as well. They are not as easy to read.
I’m not sure if I have the photo oriented correctly. Thank you for any help.

1) 丸市印特選
= Maruichi shirushi tokusen = Maruichi special selection (Nakayama)
2) 合請純正本山 = Ukea junsei honyama
= Genuine/guaranteed real Honyama
(whetstone mountains of Kyoto, or even Nakayama)
3) 優良仕上砥 (石)
= Yūryō shiageto(ishi) = Excellent/superior finishing (whet)stone
4) レーザ用
= Rezā-yō = (Use) For razor

Anyone can say something about this?
It's a 7/8" Friede 510 Frameback straight.
Thanks! ;-)

Thanked: 1077That looks like a traditional Chinese razor used to shave the head in the hairstyle called the Queue, shaved at the front and sides and long plated ponytail at the back. It’s rather like the Japanese using a kamisori to shave the Chronmage.
