Thanked: 2284Sometimes these dream razors aren't so far away from our grasp as we think they are. At least in my situation, If I was to compare a $3,000 custom 7 day set to say, my friends hobbies. Would I use it more than a motorcycle or a snow mobile???? Darn right I would. Or even a fancy SLR camera, yup, still would. For my own conscience I'd have to get rid of say,10 or 12 of my bottom ranked razors just to keep things honest.....
How's that for enabling??? Man, I've almost convinced myself that this is a great idea....Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

Thanked: 17First grail is W&B ottoman, that would be a slugfest on ebay. Second is TI dreadnought festonne spine and rams horn scales. I usually gravitate to vintage razors but that one looks so badass, plus it is current production so is attainable, maybe lessening it's grailness.

Thanked: 96Thought the Mastro Livi I posted before was the "HOLY GRAIL" of razors until I got this Mastro Livi. There is something about the damascus steel that makes this shave so smooth and the feel against my face can't be described. As with all his razors, low maintenance. Just strop after each shave on his loom strop.

Thanked: 433The next one..................
But seriously I'm not sure I have one, but early to mid 20th century French, Spanish and German NOS razors in 6/8" would be close

If I'm not mistaken, the Gentleman's Razor is post 1891, this one, with all original MOP scales, seems to be a lookalike for The Gentleman's Razor, or does the one you're referring to look completely different:

For me a grail is the one that does what I require it to do.
