Thanked: 4Bunch of razors
Hello all!
I'm new here for a reason. I had a family member pass away and I inherited his collection. I am trying to go through them and figure out what I have, it's value and if I want to keep it or pass it on to a collector that would treat it right. Do you guys have any advice for me? I just went through a display box that he had that contained 40 razors and I know there are 100 in a box that don't have boxes with them. There are 2 or 3 rolls of razors plus the ones that have boxes with them. It is more than a little overwhelming to say the least. Thanks for any help you can give as I am sure as I dig into this I will be asking a lot of questions.

If you wonder what they are worth, you could do a bit of inventory yourself by going to EBay and seeing what the similar items sold for recently. We cannot evaluate razors here. If you are in the selling game, not particularly interested in them, and are not interested in shaving with them,
It may be prudent to do just that that."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanked: 1184First of all , sorry for your loss. Evaluations of price are not allowed here. If you think about that you will begin to understand why. It looks like you have a collection of something someone was passionate about. If you go to e-bay and type in a few descriptions of what you have you will see all kinds of prices. A trained eye could tell you why the differences in price. If I were you and had any interest at all in using one I would look for some local help to show you how and discuss your options. You may want to keep them all in the end :<0)

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Geo. Wostenholm & Sons Doubly Carbonized Razor is a very nice framed back razor, great piece and it looks in very nice condition - that will clean up wonderfully - nice bunch of razors.

Well. You seem to have an audience. What! Is that a Urham Uplex?
