Certainly Scott's health is foremost! I custom ordered my razor going on 2.5 months ago and was 200 in que at the time. I am not worried about them hurrying production as I am Scott's well being. They will get to them and one day I will receive my custom beauty I placed my order for.
Wishing Scott and the team at PRC the best! God Bless and get well!German blade snob!

Cancer treatment is expensive. I have purchased and received two custom razors from PRC. Now that I know the reason for the recent delays, I'll be placing an order for my third custom. If I receive the razor by Christmas of 2015 I'll be happy. It's the least I can do to help out a friend.

Thanked: 2Yep, I ordered mine a little over 3 months ago and of course I'm anxious, but ... this is a good reminder that there are things in this world way more important than getting a new razor. That's where our thoughts should be.
And I'm still confident that good things will come to all of us who are waiting.

Thanked: 2As a quick update, my PRC razor arrived today. Total wait time was slightly less than 15 weeks.
It's got a nice feel and balance, though I haven't shaved with it yet. At first look, I confess that I'm slightly disappointed in the craftsmanship -- the final polish of the blade is a bit uneven, and I don't feel the custom scales came out quite the way Scott had initially offered. But I'll probably feel better about it after I use the thing.

Montanan I'm sure Scott would want you to be a happy and satisfied customer. You should contact PRC and give Scott the opportunity to correct any issues with your razor.

Thanked: 2Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what to do. The issues I have are not major, but they're sufficient to keep me from ordering another PRC razor, or recommending the company ... and under normal circumstances I'd certainly send off an e-mail. But the circumstances at PRC are of course not normal right now, and I think I'd feel kind of heartless if I sent that e-mail.
And to be honest, I'm not sure I want to send my order back into another 15-week vortex ...

We should all remember, myself included, this thread was started wishing Scott well on his fight against cancer.

1. Unique, one of a kind. These are limited production from a small shop.
2. Charlie Lewis comes to mind
Why? Just the truth in my opinion.
I to wish Scott well. I will stop posting here. I misread the title as Portland Razor update.
