Yep. Thats how i do it.
But i also get to shave with other people's razors after restoring them.
I've a brand new Dovo and Boker that i bought in January this year, and have only used each one twice.
I've got one on the stones now.
( thats for tomorrow morning)
And another getting fitted for new shoes.Mike

Thanked: 96Got a Mastro Livi 6/8 and just can't put it down. Just ordered another. As much as I love my Aust razors, the Mastro Livi is in a class of its own. The workmanship, feel and the way it just wants to shave when you put it on your face gives a shave like nothing else. I will use the Mastro Livi's full time except for a brief change of pass with my Austs.

Thanked: 56I stuck with one razor while I learned the basics, both of shaving and how to shave my face. I've added a variety of nice shavers to my collection, but I've settled on one that I use day in, day out, a 7/8 Aust French point. I have others that are nice shavers and I will break them out once in a while just to mix things up, but choosing a razor each morning isn't something I want to have to bother with...unless I have a compelling reason, the RA gets taken out and used.

I have a two razor case that I keep in the bathroom. Typically I keep my two blond dovo best in there and just switch back and forth each day between them.
But I have a good amount of vintage razor I like and will switch out one of the dovo for a couple months or so at a time.
