The only thing vintage which can be said to be unused are the ones coming out of Japan and a few others. I can take a NOS quality razor, tape the spine, hone it and shave. Looks same, shaves better. If it is truly rare, won't matter with exception of a few anal individuals. If it is NOT truly rare, Matters not a bit. Again, the OP should describe and provide pictures of the razor in question?

    First..thanks for all the replies.
I purposely left out the specific info on each razor because I was looking for a general overview on the topic and not an over-analysis of each razor.
The general consensus so far seems to be hone the razors and enjoy the shaving. That's the way I was hoping it would go so off they go into the rotation.
All in all, not a bad dilemma to be in!
    Thanks!

I only want to preserve the rare!
My Grime Reaper has only two shaves on it.
I'm to paranoid to damage it while doing something stupid around the sink!

    The rest I consider usable.

Is a razor NOS if it has been removed from a sealed box & what are the defining parameters
