I was just looking through the 4th edition & it is mostly about Case. About 2/3 of it cover Case & the rest of it is on Remington, Pal & Queen. It does show some on dating by the markings on the Case razor. I need to check out the DVD in the 7th edition. I've never seen it yet.

NOTE: I was wrong about the Little Valley straight. I found it & it says Valley Razor Co., Little Valley, NY which is where some of the Case razors were from. I do believe there is a connection.

Now in the 7th edition I have found the following:
There is also a connection with the Red Imp. Those are shown on the pages with the Cases. It also shows a pic of three different styles of the Red Imp. One with the blued tang & red painted letters. One with the non blued tang but the letters painted red & one w/o blued tang or painted letters.
I also have a Cases Aces with a blued, hammered tang w/cracked ice scales & on the other side of the tang it says WR Case & Sons, Bradford, PA & is in a Genco Coffin marked Bradford, PA
The book says some WR Case & Sons were made from 1905-1920 & then others were made from 1920-1955

As far as pocket knives go, W.R. Case & Sons post dates 1905-1906 until about 1920. W.R. Case & Son was used from 1903-to 1905/06

Yeah Wullie. I don't doubt you one bit there. This other stuff is what I found on Case straight razors.

Some info here from Manah; http://www.strazors.com/uploads/imag...nology_doc.pdf

Also, if you want to read through a pile, much info in this thread. One has to remember, the name Case is interwoven into most American production, in some fashion!
