How to post the pic ........ right click the photo, a menu comes up, click 'save image as'. Name it (type a name in the file bar) and click save. This is using a Linux operating system. Not sure if it works that way with microsoft windows or mac.
If it is a fake it is the first, and the best I've seen. I believe it is the real McCoy.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Torrey make a very nice razor and are somewhat underrated in the market place. I've never seen a genuine "fake" razor of any maker. Even the ones that fetch big money. There'd be just no money in it. Plenty of other much higher value items to fake.

Thanked: 884The majority of cutlery fakes you'll see will have desirable names like CASE and all their derivatives, Winchester, Remington, or small obscure names of companies that weren't in business for very long such as Tuna Valley Cutlery or a host others.
I don't recall seeing a "fake" razor. Blatantly misrepresented? LOTS of times.
I have and still see LOTS of counterfeit knives. Some glaringly obvious, others were well done fakes that take some knowledge to spot.
If you can take a five dollar knife and spend 30 dollars of time and parts to make it a $500 fake for the unsuspecting, then that would be profitable. Spending $30 to fake a $40 razor would be a waste of time and energy.Last edited by Wullie; 09-12-2015 at 04:25 PM.

Yep Wullie, you're so right! I have two books by Jim Sargent, Knives & Razors, the 7th edition which includes a dvd & the 4th edition. The books both have a lot of information, pages & pages of each, Case knives & razors & also describes many Case knives that were counterfeited but no counterfeit razors were described. They are very informative.

Instead of taking the time to make a fake I would put my stamp on it and call it a custom. Make as much money and be honest!
