    Default Possible Torrey Fake?

I’m very new to straights and new to SRP. I currently have two straights (Hart and Torrey) and found a possible new addition to my collection; however, I believe it may be a fake and need some advice. The razor's hallmark does not match what I have seen on other Torrey’s. I’ve attached a pic for review/input. Any thoughts would be very appreciated. Thanks!

    Semper Paratus!

Torrey had many incarnations of their stamp beginning with deeply-stamped 'Torrey Razor Strop Co'.
What you are seeing is a later Torrey which has an etched 'stamp'. It looks quite nice, certain to go higher!

Besides, not much money in faking Torreys, I think!

    I rest my case.

Cool scales, even though not original.

Thanks for the quick reply sharptonn. Was thinking the same thing about faking Torrey's, but the stamp with a USA vice US got me second guessing. I really appreciate your thoughts!

Toms spot on, a fine example of American made steel. A wonderful and legendary manufacturer.
    Have at it.
    And good hunting.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Now. You two are going to share why the scales are not original?
