Actually, it does. Just take a moment to analyse the threads about them, and most buyers will tell you that they bought them because they were made in America, by Americans. Nothing wrong with that, mind you. Many good things come out of America. Only, I see a wee problem when the fact who made a product where becomes the only feature to set this product apart. Which, in my limited experience, is the case with Hart razors.
And just to clarify, I was talking about "custom" razors, not "production". Dovo is the only company left who makes large quantities of razors. Ralf Aust is a one man operation - which makes Hart a production company by comparison. However, the whole "custom" point is somewhat moot when it comes to Hart. Because custom means "made specially for individual customers", which is, well, not quite the case. Hart razors are to custom razors what tailored garments are to bespoke ones.
