Just found this site and looks to be up and running...............not sure they are out of business but never used their product so even if they are or will be it does not affect me too bad other than I would feel for those employed by them of course.

Dr Spock told me he could get me a NOS one back in 1969.

Actually cousin Newt invented a laser straight razor years ago the only problem was he used parts he got from the defense plant he worked at making the star wars project and with all the hoses and wires and cooling systems the razor turned out to be 500/8ths and weighed 60lbs and the laser could bring down a moose at 3000 yards.

    He's still working on it.

I believe the site said you would be able to shave with them wet or dry.

It will be interesting to see if this product takes off, and how it works. From briefly reading the page I think the biggest issue would be life expectancy and cost of replacement for the head/ Fibre thingy.

Some of the comments were a bit unreal like the guy who asked if he could get free cases with his razors. If they were offering free cases they would have said so, and asking after you have pledged removes your leverage somewhat.

I wonder if the offset neck will make any difference to the shave and whether it was a functional design feature or just a style points thing.
If I remember correctly, there was also a design shaped more like a disposable razor with a 'Y' shaped head.

So... about 316 million people live in the US alone and the average shaver will go through 720 AAA batteries..... I don't get it?!?!? What is *green* about that?!?!?!

A straight razor is good for several hundreds of years in the right hands, can be honed on rocks dug out of the earth and lubricated with water during honing. About the only pollution is the lather used for shaving. And yet, we don't mention the *green* aspect of it....

I think this lazer razer is a non-starter.

I agree! I would much rather shave the good 'ole school way & check to make sure I'm still bleeding sometimes because if I'm not, I must be dead already.....................gotta make sure the 'ole ticker is still ticking!
