Solitary, normally I would agree with you 100% in this case it seems as OP was still trying to figure things out I don't think he thought the problem was with SRD at first (am I right?). Either way SRD is a solid vendor and I buy a lot of stuff there. Customer service with a phone call is the easiest way.

No harm no foul. OP send your razor back to them for honing at least you have something to shave with in the meantime.
