Thanked: 2284When travelling, you always have to take into account that it's highly possible that your blade could get lost, stolen, chipped, broken.... whatever. I have many razors that deliver a fantastic shave, some are very pretty and big. Some are small and really ugly. So my choice for a desert island razor would be my smilling Joseph Elliot wedge. It's pitted to all hell, it's in some wooden scales I made up for it and then realized I didn't really like them, and has an edge on it that is just phenomenal. If any of the above were to happen to this blade, I'd be a bit bummed, but then I would look at some of my more favourite razors and say "Thank god it wasn't you guys!"
