So many of us are weeping for you now...don't blow it!

Just received my order from SRD today! I was hoping for it yesterday, but the post office was slacking. It was shipped timely and customer service was top notch!

Can't wait to shave in the morning!

Congrats on your beginning set-up. One thing not mentioned earlier is to add your location in your profile. Reason being that then any Senior Member or Mentor near you would be alerted that you might (should) contact them for a face-to-face meeting. While Lynn's CD is totally informative, an in flesh session (and he would agree) is invaluable and can move you along the learning path quicker.

If you look on the left side of the welcome page there is a listing, including a link to Local Help. If your state is listed there should be at least one person shown. I'll tell you now, if you are in Oregon or Washington there are a number of top notch people more than willing to answer you questions face-to-face. You never know, it may even be a neighbor of yours you weren't aware of.

As nice as it would be to have a face to face, I live in the capital region of New York and the two listed are fairly far away. Perhaps some day.

If you go to the Members section, advanced search and list your town you might find one or two listed. If blank repeat with towns nearest to you. Should you find a few check to see their join date, last post and post count. The list show all members whether active or inactive and/or banned. PM those that look like they might be of help.

Good choice I bought that same exact set from SRD as my first due to the advice I got from this site. Take your time and you will soon be hooked. And watch that DVD a few hundred times, I learn something new every time. Stoked for you!! Enjoy your shave!!
