Thanked: 17I think I'm in the queue with Sergej as well, waiting on him to get in some black and white streaked horn to make mine. If they shave half as good as they look we'll be in fine shape.

RigaRazor 9/8 + Wow!!!
Well I've had two shaves with this razor, and it is spectacular.
The razor is made from Tungsten Carbon steel, hardness of the blade is 63HRC. It is 9/8 +, or 29.5mm of big and bad!!
As you can see, it is a stunning looking razor, reminiscent of the W&B Ottoman & Egyptian Royal Windsor razor, and the Tungsten Carbon steel felt virtually identical to my Sheffield blades. The blade was sharp, shave ready easily, hollow ground perfectly, and was an absolute pleasure to shave with.
Sergej was great with communication, the razor came exceptionally well packaged. I had asked whether I should use tape when refreshing the razor, he informed me one layer of tape, and sent along an unopened package of the exact tape he used.
I would highly recommend these razors, the feel of the steel on the face, closest I've come to that Sheffield steel feel, hollow ground to perfection, and was an effortless BBS shave.
Here's yesterday's Shave of the Day, which I will be posting today, have already had todays shave with the razor again, and bliss has been achieved!

That's great to know Andrew. It looks nice! I have seen some of the auctions go cheap. I hope that is how you got yours.
