Funny Thing about Sears & Roebuck Sta-Sharp by Koeller
I've had a number of these come and some go, but I still have this used pair. It seems pretty clear to me that Koeller made this particular model of Sears-Roebuck Sta-Sharp, and the razors were not marked 'made in Germany.' So Sears ignored the treaty of 1891 that required imports into the US to have country of origin. Note the box with the 'Kayser Ellison Steel marked on it. A British steel company that furnished stock to many of the large German razor makers back in the day. Always was curious why they are not marked 'Germany' when they obviously were made there.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
